CMU OmniClear Management Committee

The Management Committee (MCo) is CMU OmniClear's management decision making body with responsibility for its day-to-day business under the Board's delegation. Chaired by the CEO, MCo members are appointed by the Board of Directors.

The MCo's duties are as follows:

To oversee the operation of CMU OmniClear's business and to make recommendations to the Board on the strategic plan and budgets;
To oversee and make recommendations to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), according to the Board's delegation of powers, on matters relating to the CMU System that require approval of the HKMA;
To approve operating and capital expenditures in accordance with CMU OmniClear's expenditure authorisation as approved by the Board from time to time;
To manage staff appointments, terminations, promotion, performance management and talent management;
To oversee CMU OmniClear's compliance with all statutory duties imposed on it under the relevant legislation, rules and regulations;
To liaise with all regulatory authorities and organisations on all matters relating to CMU OmniClear;
To do any such things to enable the Committee to discharge its power and functions conferred on it by the Board.
